Saurashtra Premier League (SPL)

SPL History
The Saurashtra Premier League was introduced in 2019 as a regional T20 competition.
The first season ended with Sorath Lions winning the championship. The tournament then returned for its next edition in 2022, when Halar Heroes defeated Gohilwad Gladiators in the final.
The third recorded edition took place in 2023. Kutch Warriors finished the league stage with three wins from four matches and secured the top position on net run rate. Gohilwad Gladiators also finished with three wins, taking second place.
Kutch Warriors subsequently won the final by 21 runs to claim their first SPL title.

The Saurashtra Premier League should not be presented as an ongoing 2026 competition. The latest edition for which reliable tournament records are available is 2023.

SPL 2023
The 2023 Saurashtra Premier League was the latest recorded edition of the tournament.
It was played from 23 August to 31 August 2023, with five teams competing across the league stage. Kutch Warriors and Gohilwad Gladiators finished in the top two positions and qualified for the final.
Kutch Warriors scored 156/7 in 20 overs. Gohilwad Gladiators were then bowled out for 135 in 19.3 overs, giving Kutch Warriors a 21-run victory and their first SPL title.
Dharmendrasinh Jadeja captained Kutch Warriors in the final, while Raxit Mehta was named Player of the Match and Parswaraj Rana was named Player of the Series.
